Requirements
Pre-K
Requirements for admission are as follows:
- The child must be four years of age by September 1st, as verified by a Birth Certificate
- The child must be potty trained
Kindergarten
Requirements for admission are as follows:
- The child must be five years of age by September 1st, as verified by a Birth Certificate
- Attendance at the Brigance School Readiness Assessment and the test evaluation
- If applicable, a Baptismal Certificate and parish affiliation must be presented
Grades 1-8
Requirements for admission are as follows:
- Record of the most recent standardized test scores, report card and disciplinary performance for evaluation. The student must have at least a C average in core subject area for the current school year in order to be considered for acceptance. All schools will release test scores and reports upon parental request.
- For grade 1 students, the Brigance School Readiness Assessment will be given and results to be discussed with parents.
- New students in grades 5-8 will be administered a placement test that will be used as an assessment tool in the evaluation of grade readiness and class placement.
- An interview between the school administration and the student accompanied by at least one parent
- Verification of a Birth Certificate is required
- If applicable, a Baptismal Certificate and parish affiliation must be presented
