VALUE OF THE MONTH
It is May already, the days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer. All signs that our school year is winding down. The students certainly notice and are excited about being off soon for the summer. What better time to review the value of Self-Control? Self-Control is being able to excercise restraint over impulses and emotions. For a student, thinking before acting is a great way to gain control. This is often easier said than done but reinforcing this idea can really help kids feel more in control of their actions. With summer fun right around the corner, we must remain focused on finishing the academic year strong.
